Delete account

If you need to delete your game account and all associated data, there are two ways.

From inside the app (recommended)

  1. 1Open Scanwords 2.0 on your device
  2. 2Go to Settings
  3. 3Select “Delete account” and confirm

Deletion from inside the app is instant.

Via this page

If you no longer have access to the app, submit a request below. We will process it within 30 days.

If you know it — it helps us locate the account faster. Available inside the app under Settings → About.

What will be deleted

  • Anonymous device identifier (deviceId)
  • Username and avatar
  • Gameplay stats and progress
  • Hints and coins
  • Crossword completion history
  • Analytics events tied to the account

What we keep

  • Anonymized purchase (IAP) records — required by tax law. They contain no personal data.
